RIP Bobbi Kristina Brown

So sad!

[QUOTE=""]
ATLANTA (AP) — A representative for the Houston family has said Bobbi Kristina Brown, daughter of the late entertainer Whitney Houston and R&B singer Bobby Brown, has died, about 7 months after she was found face-down and unresponsive in a bathtub. She was 22 years old.

Kristen Foster said Sunday, “Bobbi Kristina Brown passed away July, 26 2015, surrounded by her family. She is finally at peace in the arms of God. We want to again thank everyone for their tremendous amount of love and support during these last few months.”

Police said she was found Jan. 31 in the suburban Atlanta townhome she shared with Nick Gordon, the man she called her husband. A police report described it as a “drowning.”

Bobbi Kristina was the only child between Houston and Brown.

Oh no… Sad, indeed.

Just came to post the same thing.

I hope Bobbi is at peace and with her mother but, unfortunately, something tells me this is only the beginning for her family.

Was it ever determined if she was really married? If not, then I imagine that an ugly battle over her estate will commence.

The entire story is so sad. I hope Bobbi Kristina is at peace.

So incredibly sad.

Mom2collegekids, I bet this battle has been going in the background and will be even uglier now. :frowning:

It’s definitely sad.

No they were never legally married.

Can’t decide whether this saga is a Greek tragedy or a sad Greek comedy.

When someone dies at 22, its a tragedy.

Witney’s death was a tragedy. Bobbi Kristina’s death is a tragedy. Some solace knowing that they’re together now.

ack…Whitney!

Sad but certainly not a surprise. Way too young.

Every child deserves to grow up in a healthy environment and happy home.

So sorry she suffered so much. The money couldn’t take away her pain or solve her problems.
Hope she is in a peaceful place now.

When I read something like this, I think about the old statement about the sins of the fathers not being passed on to the sons, and thinking in this case, that sadly the sins of the parents did get passed on to the child. It also is humbling, that all the fame and fortune in the world not only couldn’t prevent this from happening, but probably also was a factor in it happening. I don’t know what happened, I can tell you that even as a young girl, she was troubled (my S attended the same private school she did when he was in grade school, she was 2 years older than him), I can only hope she found peace finally, I suspect there wasn’t a lot growing up.

As Nathaniel West wrote in his short-story ‘Miss Lonely Hearts,’ the sins of the parents are visited upon the child, tragically.

And here we go :frowning:

No peace for this poor woman, even in death. Here’s hoping she’s no where near her body and is blissfully unaware of all the crap going on here.

Some people have no class

I saw a photo of LB holding court with the press outside of the funeral, proud of disrupting the service simply because Pat Houston was giving the eulogy and she “didn’t like it.” What a creep.
