RIP Harvey Korman

A true class act, and one of the funniest comedians around. His routines with Tim Conway were routinely some of the funniest things on TV ever seen, and i absolutley loved the fact that even they couldn’t stop laughing during the skit! And his turn as Hedey Lamar (“Thats Hedley!”) in Blazing Saddles was just brilliant.

A toast to a comic genius. Heaven got a little funnier tonight.

I remember him fondly too–so funny but also such a real seeming man, may he rest in peace

There are fewer things in life that are funnier than watching Harvey Korman on the old show, helpless with repressed laughter as Tim Conway ad libs.

He was hilarious with Tim Conway. I also laugh every time I think of his Mrs. Wiggins skit with Carol Burnett. Smiling as I remember him.

I laughed many a laugh with Harvey and Carol and Tim. Their skits were something my parents and I could enjoy together. Maybe one of the few things. Godspeed, Harvey. Godspeed.

Some of my favorite memories of him, with Tim, are when they’d be in the middle of a skit, and they’d both start cracking up.

Headley Lamar

I remember Harvey when I was in junior high and would sit across the aisle from him at the Dodger games during the early 70’s. It was amazing how he and his buddies Tim Conway and Mclean Stevenson would sit and pal around like they were just a trio of normal guys out at a game having a few beers. They would always dress down and wear those terrycloth tennis hats to try blend in with the crowd. The crowd around them respected them and left alone to enjoy the game and each other’s company.

What a great memory to have. I’m jealous.
