I have always been obsessed with space and John Glenn was an early hero of mine (along with Sally Ride). May he rest in peace.
Oh, I knew he was sick, but this is still sad to hear.
RIP. A wonderful person. Such a huge part of history.
“Glenn, I hear you, knock it out Glenn”…from one of my favorite movies “The Right Stuff”. I loved that he got to go up in the shuttle, that was really a cool thing.
He was one of a kind – I wonder if we will ever see that kind of courage, ambition, and love of country again…

What an interesting life he had!
I remember when he did a cameo as himself on the old Frasier TV series. It was hilarious!
