RIP Sean Connery

I just learned of Sean Connery’s passing. I can’t believe that he was 90 years old. I loved him as James Bond.

Best Bond ever. RIP

I loved him on Celebrity Jeopardy. ?

RIP Sean.

Other than feeling sympathy for their loved ones, I don’t usually react to celebrity deaths. This one actually made me a bit teary. RIP Sir Sean.

No one played James Bond like Sean Connery. Another loss in 2020

I never saw that. They should have shown it during the hiatus a few months ago.

RIP James Bond.

This one made me teary too. He was the ultimate Bond. RIP.

@skieurope - are you referring to SNL’s Celebrity Jeopardy? I hope so, because that’s the one that immediately popped into my head!

My favorite role of his was as Henry Jones, Sr. in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Other than James Bond, my favorite role was in The Man Who Would Be King, especially the march across the bridge singing.

A couple of my favorites were Finding Forester and The Hunt for Red October.

I’m likely one of the few that never saw Sean as Bond, Pierce either and only one Roger Moore movie. Untouchables, Raiders as Indy’s Dad, The Presidio, Playing by Heart (I never had anyone to talk about the movie to!). And a movie that didn’t have good reviews but we loved, First Knight with Richard Gere and Julia Ormond.

That’s the beauty of movies–actors never age and actors are never forgotten.

He had a presence about him that few other actors have. I especially liked Finding Forrester.

Swords for $400, Alex.

Come on! No love for Sean Connery in “The Untouchables”???

“You wanna know how to get Capone? They pull a knife, you pull a gun. He sends one of yours to the hospital, you send one of his to the morgue. That’s the Chicago way!”

Funny how SNL Celebrity Jeopardy is my kid’s gateway to Sean (a ridiculous portrayal all in good swarthy and belligerent fun). The Bond pictures will have to wait a bit longer.

Robin and Marion is a gem. He seemed to be that rare actor who appeals to men and women both.

We named the dog Indiana.

Some things don’t react well to bullets.
