Ripping off the Daisy Scouts

<p>It’s possible that the “thief” had received the counterfeit $50 from someone else, and was not aware that it was fake.</p>

<p>The girls are awfully cute. Too bad only boys emerged from my body. Sigh.</p>

<p>I would say it’s likely that the person who used the counterfeit bill got it from someone else and had NO idea it was fake. Still, not that many of us walk around with $50 bills but fewer of us have the means to check it. I do NOT own one of those pens to check my currency for authenticity. These color printers these days make it tougher to tell authentic docs from copies in general. That’s one of the reasons they’re coming up with more special features in currency, to reduce these types of problems. Crooks seem to keep a few steps ahead of all of us tho.</p>

<p>Ahh, we never took bills over $20. They could look so cute when they said “Sorry, they won’t let me take those.” Bouncing checks were another issue, but the council would take care of those written to the council.</p>
