<p>Does anyone know how many transfer students RISD accepts?</p>
<p>I got into RISD this year as a transfer, myself! I am so thrilled to be going there in the fall :D.</p>
<p>Anyway, according to collegeboard, RISD accepts 151 out of 516 transfer applicants. However, the acceptance rates for each major vary. Illustration, the major I applied for, accepts about 44%. Other majors like graphic design are more competitive, and only accept 5%-25%, depending on the year.</p>
