RISD Essay?

I just looked over the RISD application form and i don’t see any provided spaces for essays. Are all applicants to RISD required to write an essay? I’m applying to the architecture program… could anyone help me?

You are supposed to send the essay with your portfolio and three drawings

Try this link:

Funny, I was scanning over the app the other day and you are correct. There is nothing on there indicating the rest of the application steps you need to follow. But they are on the website if you read through the application section. Good luck.

I just follow its online application and it seemed that it does indeed not require any long essay.

BTW, I am admitted.

You need to write two essays, each between 200-400 words.
The first is basically your standard college essay. The second talks about one of your three drawings.

Lyx can i see ur admission portfolio plz?

Hey,

In your portfolio have you put in any architectural sketches?
