Rising Junior seeking advice/tips

Hello my goal is to study Chemical Engineering, currently my top 3 choices are UC Berkeley, UCLA, and UCSB.

GPA: 4.0 Weighted

French 1 (A/A)
Algebra 2 H (B/B)
Biology H (A/A)
English 9 H (A/A)
PE 9 (A/A)
Intro to Engineering and Design (A/A)

Sophomore Year:
Digital Electronics (A/A)
AP European History (A/A)
English 10H (A/A)
Trig/Precal H (A/A)
French 2 (A/A)
Athletic PE (A/A)

Junior Year:
French 3H
AP US History
AP Chemistry (Currently taking Chemistry H in an online summer class)
AP Calculus AB
AP English Lang
Civil Engineering and Architecture

Planned Senior Year:
Principles of Engineering
AP French 4
AP Gov
AP Calculus BC
AP English Lit
AP Physics or AP Biology or Physics H (Not sure if AP Physics will be offered yet, AP Biology is not being offered in the coming year because of lack of students, but might be offered again the next year.)

ECs:
Robotics Team: Planning to be Vice President/Co-Captain, currently lead student in Design. My team was a finalist in the FRC Inland Empire Regional in 2013. Being considered for vice-student lead for fundraising.
Key Club: 50 service hours, planning for 100-150 more by the time I apply for colleges my senior year. Currently the Club’s journalist, possibly going to consider running for Vice President or Treasurer.
NHS: Planning to run for Vice-President, making a deal with my friend to allow him to be president of NHS while I be President of CSF.
CSF: Planning to run for President
Chess Club
Served as a student on school’s WASC preparation committee.
Golf Team: JV Freshman and Sophomore year, set to be Varsity Junior and Senior Year.
Planned ECs:
Planning to get back into Philosophy/Debate club at my school, for I was inactive for most of my Sophomore year after I had gone to a few meetings.
PI Club: I am most likely going to join my school’s math club that is only available for students in Calculus.

Other that I am a part of a 4 year engineering academy at my school, my class rank is 6/485, but will mostly likely raise to 2-4 if I keep straight A’s. I am possibly going to self study for AP Bio or AP Statistics, which will be the only AP classes at my school I am most likely not going to take, other than AP Spanish, which I cannot take.

Your GPA is right on target and your class rank is already excellent. Keep up with the AP classes and remain in the ECs that you enjoy (especially those with officer positions) and you should be set for Berkeley!

Keep up the good work. Remember to take the SAT2 on the AP subjects in June. Are you from California? UCB has far better ChemE program than the other 2 schools. Stanford and CalTech also have great ChemE program in California although they are highly competitive.

How important would the SAT Chemistry and SAT Math 2 be for admission to Berkeley? Would most other engineering applicants likely have taken them?
