Over the summer, I went to a party that got busted. I didn’t get in much trouble but it was certainly an eye-opening experience and I feel like I learned a lot about life from it. Is this a bad topic to write about? Does it make me look bad?

The college essay is the first & last impression you make. You’re not going to be remembered as the kid who learned from being busted. You’re going to be remembered as the kid who got busted.
Write about something that showcases you in a POSITIVE light.
