Hey guys,
I am accepted to those 3 schools but I’m also lost right now.
RIT and NYIT are significantly cheaper than Pitt in my case
I know that RIT has a really good program and co-op but Pitt and NYIT have much better location
NYIT probably has the best location but I dont think their program is as good as Rit and Pitt
Im leaning toward RIT because of the price and their academics but Pitt is also a really good choice but much more expensive.
My family can still afford Pitt but i’m not sure if it’s worth the money going to Pitt instead of RIT .

Pitt also has a co-op program. I think you need to visit the three schools or the two favorites and talk to faculty and students in the departments.
@mommdc Thanks for the reply
I have already scheduled the visit but just want to get some other opinions on here as well.
Why do you say NYIT has the best location?
@Chardo I mean it’s in manhattan and i really like the urban vibe of manhattan but it’s also pretty expensive living in manhattan
Um, NYIT is not in Manhattan. It’s about 40 minutes east, on Long Island.
NYIT appears to have several campuses in various locations.
The Manhattan “campus” is some classrooms in two buildings. The main campus of NYIT is just down the road from me, 30 miles from Manhattan.
@Chardo wow, I just realized that. Then RIT and Pitt are the top choices for me now.
