We lost all ours a year or so ago. Basically that and Walgreens gone. It’s all up to CVS around here now.

They bought up the indie drug store - Bartell’s - and destroyed it.
We’ve moved our prescriptions to Costco.

When visiting my family in Michigan they closed one like over a year ago.
I absolutely hate them for destroying Bartells.

No Costco or Walmart pharmacies in your area?
Yes there are those. I was talking about stand alone drug stores.

We have a wonderful local pharmacy in our town, and that is where I take all of my pharmacy business. I shop local whenever I can. The Rite Aid stores here closed many years ago.

Our Rite Aid stores near us have been closed for ten years or so. I don’t know about the rest of you, but there are dozens of places to get RX filled plus mail order.
IIRC there was a time when URI pharmacy grads were guaranteed a job with Rite Aid upon graduation, if they wanted one. But that has been gone for a while too.
You know…for a while around here, pharmacies were popping up on just about every vacant lot. That’s not happening anymore either.

I go to independent pharmacies except Sundays when the ones in my neighborhood are closed.
