Barron’s 2400 and Kaplan 2400 are the way to go. Those two books are extremely potent.

℞ : Barron’s 2400 and Kaplan 2400
Dosage: Twice a day
Side effects: Extreme frustration due to ludicrously hard questions. Likely score increases.

Thank youu, let me see if I have it in my sister’s old books. :p

EDIT:
Do you think I should use Barron’s when I am getting 1880’s? I mean I thought Barron’s always demotivated you when you were not ready for it?

I’ve completed barrons 2400, all the examples, practice tests and grand mixtures included. I think I may need to get kaplan 2400, cuz I don’t really feel any more different as in better. IceQube, how is kaplan 2400? I retook a kaplan course this summer and I’m almost done with all the homework they assigned from the online course as well. Will kaplan 2400 help me improve more? I also am doing the BB, got a 2150 on the first test.

OMG A 218?!?!?!
ANd when you started prepping you got a 1800-2000 RANGE?!?!?!
Wow. When I started, I get like 1400s. Now i’m getting 1800s-2000s XD

@IceQube can you brake down the format of the Kaplan 2400 book for me please? Like does it have lots of questions to practce from or just reviews of concepts and strategies?

Day 2.)
So far I am working on Rocket Review words 200-323. I am writing them down on flash cards and I will put the ones I know in one pile, the ones I don’t in another, then I will keep going through the ones I don’t know, then I’ll take a test.

The Kaplan 2400 book goes through strategies and then example questions on which you can apply the strategies.

One of Kaplan’s strategies is to read the 1st third of a boring CR passage, then read the first sentence of each paragraph that’s left, and then proceed directly to the questions. After the strategy you are presented with a passage and a few questions.

I really like the writing section of the Kaplan 2400 book. I think it’s better than the Barron’s 2400 book. Here’s the format:

Example sentence Why it’s hard: an explanation of what makes the sentence tricky - e.g. “atypical correction” Key strategy: the corrected version Explanation of correct answer

@IceCube I didnt really do the entire writing practice section, but i did about 15 questions from each and i only got about 7-8 of them correct. It tests a lot on diction (since i didnt know what nearly half those words meant, i got them wrong -_-).
