Well, now that I’ve got my youngest daughter, a rising freshman, figured out for the upcoming summer (CTY’s Intro to Biomedical Science), it’s time to focus on my oldest daughter, a rising senior. I stumbled upon an interesting program at Indiana University of Pennsylvania called Cooks Honor College Summer Program. I found a few threads for it and my oldest seems very interested in the 2 week set-up: 1/2 day focused on Literature (her choice of the three Core options) and the other 1/2 of the day focused on Forensics (her choice of 13 discipline-based options) … all this for 2 weeks. The price looks extremely cheap at approximately $1,000, which got my attention, but the program actually sounds very interesting.

I found a couple of interesting threads on this but wanted to see if anyone knew much of the program or attended it?

Was it well run?

Safety?

Food and living conditions?

Interesting and challenging academically?

Fun?

Thanks for your input. Here’s those few threads I found:
