Not sure how valuable this will be, but I am an Australian who recently applied for that 1 robertson scholarship place available to Australians. I had my final interview yesterday, meeting Mr robertson and a few other interviewers.

If I could impart some wisdom based on my experiences I would say two things:
- Don’t stress. Mr robertson is actually a really nice and surprisingly normal guy, and certainly doesn’t make you feel pressured. So don’t stress about him!!! In any case, he is impossible to read, so you will never know if you’re really impressing him or not quite hitting the mark; so don’t waste energy trying to read him, but instead put all your energy into presenting yourself from the heart. That’s the best you can do!!
- I realise many of you will be stressing about what they will ask and the like. I know that, because I went through the same thing. Let me give you the simplest piece of advice: just know exactly why you want the scholarship. That’s the fundamental basis of the interview. And if you’re someone who genuinely wants it for all the reasons you give and someone who genuinely wants the scholarship to pursue its aims etc, then you will not find any interview question difficult at all.

If any of u have the time, I’d really appreciate if you could give me your advice in return: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/duke-university/1472034-please-help-intl-applicant-duke-robertson-vs-stanford-wharton-vs-oxford.html
