<p>Wow. I pretty much think that music is a wasteland these days, but Jack White’s new album released this week is some seriously creative rock n’ roll. He is playing with a whole bunch of genres. Here a few samples:</p>

<p>I just watched his live 2 hour American Express webcast of a concert from NYC tonight. He’s touring with two bands. The Penguins is an all-girl band. The Buzzards is an all guy band. He did a set with each band tonight. Both were fantastic.</p>
<p>He’s a bit of an acquired taste, but I suspect this will be the album this year.</p>

<p>He is brilliant and Blunderbuss is a phenomenal album. I’m seeing him in LA on Monday. I can’t wait.</p>
<p>Love Alabama Shakes too. I will be seeing them and Jack White again at Outside Lands in August.</p>
<p>Another in the blues rock genre that I love right now is Gary Clark Jr. The man is a guitar god.</p>

<p>Saw him on Colbert the other night. IMHO, the interview was better than the music. Definitely an acquired taste which I don’t have.</p>
