<p>Is applying in November (after I get my October SAT scores) still considered advantageous to Smeal College of Business? Also, will 3.75uw/3.91w/1800SAT cut it?</p>
<p>eh your SATs are good but not tops…if it wasnt for the fact that Penn State got so many freshman this year id say you were a match for PSU.</p>
<p>Nov. should be fine, just make sure you put it in as soon as possible.</p>
<p>They accepted more freshman than they could handle this year (8000!) so they may have to scale back next year. GPA is good - SAT is in the ballpark but it would help to bring it up. Not sure if it would pay off to apply earlier or wait and try to bring the score up. Your’e probably OK with a very early application.</p>
<p>All depends on your M/V SAT. Remember, PSU won’t be taking into account the writing section until H.S. Class of 2008. If you have a 1250 M/V and 550 Writing, I’d say your fine. But if you did really well on your writing, then make sure you nail the Oct SATs. Like was said earlier, it all depends how they handle the mass amounts of freshman. Just make sure you say you are willing to attend the summer session. It helped two friends of mine get in. Good luck. Maybe I will see you at Smeal in a year!</p>
