Rollins

I’m an incoming senior with a GPA of a 3.6 unweighted and a 4.2 weighted. I am doing early graduation so I haven’t taken my ACT or SAT but I am already signed up to within the next three months. My ECs include dance, theatre, and I’ve traveled with an international group to Asia and different parts of Europe.

You’ve an excellent chance of getting into Rollins. Demonstrate some interest and get north of a 26 ACT, and your chances are upwards of 90%.

Thank you! Do you know if Rollins bases their acceptance on weighted or unweighted GPA?

I’m not totally sure about admissions, but I think it’s based upon your unweighted GPA in core courses only. FYI, the average GPA of admitted freshman is 3.33 (lots of good info on collegedata website for all colleges), and this is an unweighted GPA. Probably core courses.

The merit aid calculations definitely use the unweighted GPA in core courses.

For Flagler and Tampa, the average admitted GPA is also around a 3.3, but I have a suspicion these are calculated differently (weighted GPA) from Rollins’ method.
