Thank you! I have an epidural and Mr R didn’t even respond to me throwing a pillow at him. I envy what he can sleep through.
All fixed now though and gonna try to sleep after chugging some liquids

Well add me to being up and checking my phone through out the night. Think I am as excited for your child then I was for my own… BTW - good things he’s getting some rest. My wife would breast feed and I would rock the baby back to sleep. Holly Cole “Train song” would put them right to sleep… Trust me… Download it. ??. (plus she’s wonderful if you like female jazz singer’s…)

I am focusing on myself and baby but labor is stalled so I’m bored lol. Very bored.
And every time I manage to fall asleep either the machine goes off or medical people come in.

I was admitted at 37 weeks for preeclampsia. One night I’m enjoying a deep sleep and the speaker right next to my ear goes off:
Nurse: Mrs. HouseChatte, Mrs. HouseChatte!
Me: . . . Yes? . . .
Nurse: Mrs. HouseChatte! Are you having any contractions???
Me: No – but thank you for asking.
Omg I just snorted my water lol.
My contractions have been continuous. The contraction tracker looks like a drawn out heart rate line lol.

I belong to a group of working moms that have enjoyed an e-mail list for 25 years. More than 20 years ago, one woman had her second child, and her partner gave us an e-mail play-by-play of the delivery. I’m reminded of that now.
