im debating btwn just showing little details/pet peeves about me and going for the big-like emphasizing the positive qualities. which one do you think work better?
and would anyone be willing to pm me yours? i just want a generally idea.
thanks in advance!

Stay positive! No one wants to know your pet peeves.

just write about something interesting that tells the committee something about you that hasn’t come out in other applications.

examples of things friends of mine at Stanford wrote about:

-being poor in Mississipi
-coming out as gay to friends at a festival
-fear of spiders

thanks! =]

ok, mine is currently like im actually writing to my future roommate. its very informal and i say stuff that i would want future roommate to know, like i stay up late and im secretly a huge bears fan, is that what its supposed to be??

there isn’t anything its “supposed” to be. make it what you want it to be. :P
