Hi guys! Sorry i am really new at this and it migt seem like a dumb question but do i have to know for sure that i am going to the school before looking for a roomate?
I guess you “could” look for one on your own.
But, those Facebook apps for finding roommates require a student ID number, which is given after your deposit.
Wait until you know what school you are going to. There is nothing more frustrating for the other person to think they have found someone and then you bail on them.
Also you have to know how roommates are assigned at the college you go to…some are assigned by those taking the same freshman seminar course.
