<p>I am a freshman and am wondering how roommate changes work? I would like to have my friend be my roommate next year but he currently is in another dorm. Is it a difficult process to pull someone into your dorm when they currently live in another?</p>
<p>You have to go through Reslife. They have forms that you have to get in by the deadline to pull someone in. Then the person who you pull in will be on the lottery list for your dorm and you will go through room picks just like everyone else (I think they put the transferee at the end of the list, so you’ll probably have to rely on your lottery number). Just make sure you aren’t late getting the forms in, the deadline isn’t flexible from what I have heard.</p>
