<p>I’m wondering if you think that answering this prompt:</p>
<p>Everyone belongs to many different communities and/or groups defined by (among other things) shared geography, religion, ethnicity, income, cuisine, interest, race, ideology, or intellectual heritage. Choose one of the communities to which you belong, and describe that community and your place within it. </p>
<p>from UMich’s supplement could be the same essay as the roommate essay. That’s what I’m going to do to save time, and it seems like you could talk about your diversity in the roommate letter unless you’re supposed to show your personality more or something.</p>
