Not more than a few hours ago, I posted this:

which was a link to a database that Nando '10 had created, with nothing to prevent just anybody from viewing it.

Due to understandable privacy concern that was raised, MIT certificates are now required to view the info. The new link is here:

<a href=“https://scripts-cert.mit.edu/~paniagua/tempdorms/index.php[/url] ”>https://scripts-cert.mit.edu/~paniagua/tempdorms/index.php
;

I get an error when I try to access it, is it just me?

I am able to access it, just fine… see that your certificates are properly installed and up-to-date.

I actually found 2/3 of my roommates on facebook

I just renewed my certificates and it worked. If it’s not working for you go to this website and redownload your certs.

same as Olo, my personal certificate had expired. it works now =). no roommates though =(

the more people who add info to the file, the more likely you are to find a roommate, if you have one.

no roommate yet…:(

Sort of off topic for this thread, but why does Baker seem to pack the most students into its dorms? So far, I see rooms with as many as four people in Baker, while the rest generally have two or less people per room.

baker is social and close to classes

The Baker rooms are the biggest.

whoa did this all come from facebook? that’s some serious work…

mostly from facebook, several email submissions, and some from the class of 2010 AIM chat room

Does the list contain freshmen only? And, why are some room # XXX?

It’s freshman only. Those who either don’t have their info on Facebook or haven’t e-mailed Nando get XXX, since he has nothing on them.
