Roommate Hypothetical

So one time my roommate had to sleep with the fan on at night, apparently he had the sweaty skin syndrome. I tried dealing with it for 3 weeks. Body woke up sore almost every morning, headache at night, stuffy nose sometimes, some days no problem, other days it would come a lot, in cycles, wasn’t able to focus in class next morning, all while he got his precious beauty sleep.

What to do? I tried complying. Use a thicker blanket so you won’t get cold. No progress, because the air still circulated the room hitting my face, and the noise was also loud, even on the lowest setting, preventing me from sleeping comfortably. Tried earplugs, but they would fall out, and plus you are paying for your apartment to have a comfortable good night’s rest too, not to put on a huge thick blanket, earplugs, and dress with all this equipment at night as if you’re ready to enter battle.

He still got his beauty sleep. Who has the problem and why? I want to prevent these kinds of issues in the future because although I don’t blame him for his condition, it is just not fair and in the interest of the other to have to deal with this chaos at night, the most precious time of the day, when sleeping.
