Rose-Hulman Early Action for Fall 2025 Admission

I highly encourage joining the Rose Hulman parents group on Facebook and asking about the male:female ratio there. The parents there were so helpful to me last year when I had tons of questions. Make sure you answer the membership questions when asking to join. They welcome parents whose kids are considering Rose, even if they haven’t committed yet.

I think your message was incomplete. Could you share more?

My son heard back from Financial Aid and they confirmed that the Catapult scholarship will be reflected in the financial aid letter they send in February.

Hey, just checking in with everyone, has your child committed to being a “Rosie” ? Mine is down to Rose and one other small private school. So many things to consider beyond engineering - housing, food, activities,

So true, I have learned a ton from the facebook group

My son is 99% set on Rose, but we are really hoping to get a little bit more in scholarships. He submitted a financial aid appeal on Monday, and they said he would hear back in a few weeks. It’s so hard, because he has a few full ride offers to other schools. But he loved Rose and feels like it’s the best fit. Good luck to your student! What other school is he considering?

Yeah, you dont want it to come down to money and loans of $20,000 vs $30,000 do make a difference ….but if they come out with a strong degree and better job offers. He has some merit from Rose, but a little better scholarship from the University of Dayton and is deferred from Georgia tech and Virginia tech …so still deciding. A friend of mine’s daughter is a junior at Rose now and she can’t say enough good things about the school

It’s still low on my S25’s list, but not ruled out. I think if he were a prospective Engineer this would look different, but as a prospective math major, the high price is looking less attractive to him than other options (he will do grad school also, so most likely not heading directly to a lucrative job).
