Ross (BBA) vs Fordham (Gabelli School of Business)

Hello,
I got admitted to the BBA program at Ross and Gabelli School of business. Here is what I am being offered
Cost of attendance
Ross $69K
Gabelli $47K (includes $33K in Deans scholarship)

I aspire to get into investment banking after I complete my undergrad. Please advise which is an easier school to get into investment banking. I am also admitted(in-state) to the Terry School of Business @ University of Georgia for $12K per year. I am very confused and will appreciate any insights on how important the business school is to get into an investment banking job.

For I banking Ross

But. Few get in the field, not everyone likes the grueling hours, and do you have that much coin to throw away with no guarantees ?

Then Fordham because if it’s location and then UGA which is a fine school and Atlanta and other southern cities have I banking.

Thanks. This is the kind of information I was hoping to get. Are you saying, getting into Ross does not significantly increase your chances to get into an i banking career? I applied to Fordham thinking that the school will have easy access to wall street banks and I banking or related roles in general.

Ross way over Fordham and congrats.

What bothers me is when people apply to schools but can’t attend due to $$. Why apply ?

This doesn’t sound like you but it is the case for many.

Many swear by Fordham but it’s not listed on any feeder lists that I’ve seen.

I don’t think it matters where you go in regards to ease of getting in…it’s not easy. And I’m not most who aspire to I banking even know what it is.

That said Ross is a top feeder. Is it worth it for your family to spend that much extra with no guarantees ? That’s a personal call.

Note the college transitions 2nd list adjusted for enrollment. I’m sure if you google all three college names and investment banking, you’ll find them.
