I got a email saying that I would have to wait till March to hear back for sure about my acceptance into the business school.

A few weeks later they emailed me ( approx 1 week ago) that they “invite me to” submit my grades and updated ACT scores to them.

My stats are
GPA: 3.97
Rank: 2
ACT : 32 ( every subscore 34 or above except english)
Curriculum: Rigorous, Highest level classes that could be taken in each grade.
EC: Treasurer of student council, IASA member, religous club, 3 jobs ( 1 is IT, 1 is junior lvl management, and 1 is owning a tech consulting firm), NHS member, tennis player.
Essays: My essays were rock solid, and I had them verified by a multiple sources. I own a small business which is recognized in the community.

What grades would I need to pull off this semester to get in ( they asked for 7th semester grades)?

I currently have a 4.16 weighted gpa with the hard classes like AP java ,AP micro, AP calc AB, Honors Physics… All A’s and then 1 C in calc which I’m trying to bring up to a B.

I have no idea what grades you would need because some schools’ AP classes are a lot easier than others. Just make sure that your G.P.A goes up. Also, have you submitted you 7th semester grades yet? If you did, did you receive any sort of confirmation via email?

Can’t believe you didn’t get in already. The 1 C could hurt. Is the 3.97 W. If your UW GPA is better 7th semester than your average over the previous 6, you probably have a good shot.

Basically all throughtout high school my gpas went 3.86-4.0-3.86-3.86-4.0-4.17 per semester. Now this semester I could technically get it up to a 4.5 with all A’s but that would be impossible with my C+ in calc. If I brought that up to a B my GPA would be 4.32 which would be higher than any other year. Hopefully that will get me in.

Every year I have received all A’s and then one B in my spanish class consistently. There were two semesters were I received all A’s, the rest all A’s and then 1 B… I don’t know how that calculates.

This year I will have all A’s and then a C/B depending on what happens in calculus.

I guess they don’t, but to give you chances we need to know. A 4.0 at one school could be a 4.8 at another, and UW is the only way for us to give anything close to an accurate chance. Your UW would be like a high 3.8-3.9. Make sure you get a B in calc. They probably don’t want to see Cs from deferred kids.

KK, I got a 78% right now and the midterm is worth 15-20%, so as long as I beast that I should be able to pull it up to a B. Then my Grades would be A,A,A,A,A,B. With 3 ap’s and 1 honors. Hopefully I’ll hear back soon…
