<p>not really-they look at your overall gpa and the grades in the required classes (econ 101/102, calc 1, accounting, english). If you took it and did well it would obviously add to your application package, but I seriously doubt it would give you an advantage over someone who has not taken it. It was an interesting class though-my last math class ever!</p>
<p>Actually Nirvana, it does help. The more comfortable you are with Calculus and Statistics, the better off you are, especially if your intent is to go into Investment Banking. But Nirvana is correct in saying that the cummulative GPA is the most important criteria.</p>
<p>Does IB use multivariable calc? I thought most applications of calc outside physics just involved single variable.</p>
<p>That is correct Nirvana, but the more comfortable you are with math, the more IBs like you.</p>
