<p>I am looking at AROTC and NROTC at Berkeley. How difficult is it to get a 4 year ROTC scholarship in these programs?</p>
<p>I’m a NROTC midshipman at Stanford currently, and we’re part of the Berkeley unit. Berkeley is a tough unit to get into; the spots fill up quickly and we’re a very small unit to begin with. If your scores, GPA, fitness, etc. are top-notch, you shouldn’t have a problem. Otherwise, I know the Northern California consortium is definitely one of the more difficult units to get into. Not to mention the Navy is downsizing somewhat so ROTC units are not required to commission as many officers as before.</p>
