I am currently applying for an Army ROTC scholarship and I am almost done. All I need is an interview and the medical examination. The only problem I’m having is with the interview. I was told that I needed to contact a Professor of Military Science at the school I want to attend. The only problem is that most of the schools I listed are out of state. A few weeks got a letter from cadet command listing all of the colleges with ROTC in my geographical area. The letter also has the contact information of the PMS. Would it be ok to do an interview at one of the closer schools even though I won’t be attending their school or would it be better if I fly out of state and do an interview at the college of intent?
