I don’t think Eugenie is a beautiful woman, but she was beautiful today! 
I think her dress was gorgeous and she is a beautiful bride.
Official commitment? Oh please. It’s a family wedding. What else was SOOOOO important?

She was at a school in Scotland. Pshaw.
Hate to be the outlier here but her dress reminded me of bed sheets. Nicely sort of fitted bed sheets.
But she looked absolutely beautiful and radiant-- so happy and smiling that I didn’t even look at the dress at first.
It was Camilla who was at the school in Scotland. Double pshaw.
I thought Eugenie’s train was a bit long, but otherwise thought it was stunning.
Well…she missed a gorgeous wedding…
And frankly, I’m sure some school would have understood that she had a family royal wedding to attend. Really.
I think she looked great and I loved the tiara and dress.
Wonderful how all these men leap up to fix her train as she gets out of the car. Even her Dad had a fix at it. And it was windy!
Beatrice looked great too. Those two usually get into fashion trouble but they really looked wonderful at this wedding!

News story comes complete with captions of pictures labeled “Camilla pets dead cat”. (The stuffed animals are taxidermy). “and the cat doesn’t look too happy”.
That’s one headline in the UK. She visited a school of nine kids rather than attend the wedding.
Hey! I’m not judging! Famous families have more drama than most. I’m sure she sent something from the registry…
I didn’t even know the wedding was today until you guys started this thread! I loved her dress and thought the tiara was perfect. If I had to wear a tiara, it would be that one!
I read that the Camilla school visit was set long before Eugenie set her wedding date. While she could have cancelled, that might have been a real hassle for the school. It probably takes months of planning and behind the scenes security arrangements to deal with a royal visit. So maybe she didn’t want to lay that on them? Or maybe there’s bad blood between her and Sarah Ferguson? I seem to remember Sarah siding with Diana during the divorce scandals.
Looks like she was having a lot more fun in Scotland, frankly, if you actually look at the photos rather than reading the snarky text.
Speaking of snark, I’m not loving Sarah Ferguson’s hat. I saw one comment from a fashion reporter, who actually liked it, referring to it as the Golden Sneetch.
Only one comment??? A Quidditch match was my first thought. My later thoughts: Yoda’s ears and the Flying Nun.

I think that her facial expressions reveal that she is having fun with the kids introducing her to their taxidermy, and settling in with the ladies for a nice cup of tea. She isn’t an actress. She’s a real person.
I thought Sarah Ferguson looked fine - hats get a wide berth and almost anything is acceptable, IMO. I thought Eugenie’s dress was lovely and it suited her perfectly. Her hair and the tiara were gorgeous. Most importantly, the wedding seemed full of love and good wishes, and it seems apparent that she is a much loved royal.
Gossip has it Camilla chose to honor the engagement because she’s not a big fan of Prince Andrew, who apparently was less than supportive of her relationship with Charles. He was apparently openly hostile. So whether or not it’s true, your inquiring mind now knows 
I think more to the point, Fergie was great friends with Diana. Whether that was behind her excuse prior commitment is just speculation.
