Does wearing a REGULAR rubber band around the wrist signify anything? I’ve seen several people with one on.

that you dont give a ****?

yeah, it means that they cheat. one can stretch out the rubber band and write stuff on it. one it is relaxed, the teacher can’t tell ANYTHING. all the student has to do is to stretch it during a test and, voila!

ACtually, I don’t know.

maybe they ‘snap’ at whim!

sorry this is off topic (kinda) but what are those red string kinda stuff people wear around their wrist? I heard it was something to do with religion? Like, they ‘practice’ it…?

hah. red strings mean they practice anorexia. no joke, look it up online.

red strings = kabbalah…at least that’s the normal association i know attached 2 a red string around the wrist…

and i know some ppl that wear rubber bands around their wrists so that when they fall asleep in class they snap it to stay awake…weird i know

red string is in hinduism. We tie it around our sisters wrist and they tie it around ours. It supposed to symbolize like some kind of bond.

some people wear rubber bands if they have a bad habit and they snap themselves whenever theyre about to do it (true story). red string is also for kaballah, you can buy the strings for about $26. cough ripoff cough.

along with the bad habit thing, i’ve heard of people wearing it when they’re trying to quit smoking. when they get the urge they start snapping it and it sort of “releases” the tension I guess.

Basketball players usually snap a rubber band a few times after missing a jumper.
