I heard if u have to wait a long time for ur decision it means rejection or deferral…has that been the case for many? ive been perusing the acceptances and most ppl who are getting accepted dont have that big of a delay between acceptance and app completion. Darn…i completed early january so i tihnk i got deferred or rejected…LOL

My Son’s application completion date was November 17. He was accepted last Friday. I know in his case, he is taking his math and his English as duel enrollment at two of the local colleges. They wanted to wait and see his duel enrollment forms for second semester before they accepted him. Just to make sure he was taking them, I guess.

Umm… it’s been about 2 months, which is pretty normal I guess for normal admissions… You shouldn’t worry that much I think.

chill out.
my app was complete 11/14, and i finally heard that i was accepted on 2/23, which was a few days over 14 weeks decision time.
using the people on here to base your opinion is probably not the best idea, because the data is definitely skewed. a lot of people on here are amazing students, so people with 4.0 and almost perfect ACT or SAT scores are most likely going to hear a decision in a short time span because UM wants these students to attend.

nah…i think it just means that you are borderline and they need to take the time to read your essays…i believe that some kids get accepted without having their essays read…my friend who had almost perfect score and GPA applied with an essay with random alphabet and got in within 2 weeks

my other friend, who’s a BORDERLINE APPLICANT, 2.4 GPA, good SATs, OOS got in after a LONG LONG LONG LONG 4 months…and got his acceptance a couple days ago…so i think it just means that you are borderline

Nope, just a rumor. I thought that was true, too. I applied in October, and just got in a few weeks ago! So don’t jump to any conclusions just yet.

ohhh baby i cant wait to get married and drop out of school to raise the kids

huh…? ^ (10 chars)
