Hey, guys, do you have the experience of running your daily used apps off a USB drive?

Which is I am now trying to do. But I find that only portable apps can be run like that.

while some apps like MS office are not portably available. How can I do that?

I don’t think you can use products like Office that require registration to run can be used on from a USB drive. However I have run AIM, Skype, and Eclipse (to name only a few) off my USB drive without any problems.

You can run OpenOffice as a portable app.

[PortableApps.com - Portable software for USB drives](http://portableapps.com/) ,
I used that a lot while in HS and will probably have some apps on my flash drive again in college.

Just stumbled upon with Prayaya. I installed prayaya on my USB drive and then installed MS Office 2003 suite on prayaya. It seems working very well on other computers.
