<p>It was a tragic Derby Day. Attended a Derby party and the cheers turned quiet once we saw what happened to Eight Belles… I grew up in Kentucky and still get teary singing My Old Kentucky Home each May. I unboxed my Derby hat and had a mint julep – it’s a wonderful ritual… Wish it had not been so sad for so many this year.</p>
<p>It has been sooo long since we had a Triple Crown Winner! </p>
<p>Maybe this year! Go, Big Brown!</p>
