So I will be starting my first year at Howard University in this fall(2017) and I thought a good way to get my story started is by joining the Freshman Student Council. I want a position primarily to learn about the school and the various aspect that go into providing an enjoyable experience for thousands of students. One problem, I never held a highly contested elected position before. Yes I was vice president of an organization of 200 or so but, I have no idea how to go about campaigning for this or even preparing for the job. Please SMS
