Rural Fashion College

<p>Hi-
I’m a 17 year old HS junior in New Jersey and I currently have a 4.2 GPA on a 4.6 scale. Anyway, I want to pursue a career in Fashion design but I don’t want to go to school in a city. In fact, I would like to find a small, more rural school (with small intimate classes) that could have the major i want. Also, I consider myself a hard working student and want to be academically challenged in college. If you have any insight or suggestions for me I would appreciate it. Thanks</p>

<p>None of the schools are what you would call small, though you might find some schools with a relatively smaller number of students in their FD or apparel design programs.</p>

<p>Cornell University College of Human Ecology might work for you. Even though it is part of a big university, the College of Human Ecology is almost entirely in one building, and the design program is a small, fairly intimate community. <p>Kent State in Ohio is rural-ish (28,000 people) but is near larger cities:</p>
