Rush Reporting Question

When you rush report do they send in the scores by paper and electronically or only by paper!!

only by paper im almost 100% sure.

■■■, anyone else??

i checked again, it’s just by paper, that’s why some colleges don’t want RUSH scores, b/c they just want it electronically

wait wait wait. so if i rush my scores, only colleges who receive my paper will get it? Nothing will be sent ot them electronically? So I have to send all my scores by rush AND regular?

Contact the college in question. Some of them prefer to get them normal (i.e. electronically) past the deadline rather than before the deadline but rushed (i.e. paper).

I believe if you rush them, it takes until the next electronic… update, if you will, until the scores will be listed electronically. This may be a week, or a month. But the rush scores DO eventually get listed electronically.

Are you 100% sure??

I’m 99% sure. I’ll go and check.

Bingo!

So if your college is an Internet Score Recipient, (which it almost certainly is) electronic rush reports are sent daily.

Also, if the school doesn’t use the daily rush program, it recieves an electronic report of all score reports (normal and rushed) weekly.

thanx a zillion!!

I was just wondering the same thing. Thanks, guys! :)

Are you sure about this? I just came across something that suggests otherwise on the Columbia application:

That’s what the collegeboard website says. I’m going by what the company says.

Individual schools may have different policies and/or preferences. But think logically about it. Why wouldn’t collegeboard also stick your scores on the electronic listing when you rush?

Whoa, are you going to the Iraqi war or something? I’m only asking because what Columbia said doesn’t agree with your deduction, and I thought you might know something about it.

Huh? Do you think I’m mad or something? I was just saying that that’s what collegeboard says and maybe different colleges have different preferences. And I’m sorry, but I don’t know much about Columbia and their preferences.
