Rushing at usc?

does anyone know what its like to rush at usc if you’re from out of state? i’m from texas and i know at ut spending time with sororities over the summer is a huge part of the rush process so out of city/state girls are sometimes at a disadvantage… is it the same at usc?

Generally been pretty strong, but with Joe McKnight declaring for the draft who knows for next year.

no your not at a disadvantage. they dont start rushing until school starts

Ashley,
There are many women from Texas who go through recruitment at SC. It is a competitive recruitment. You will find large numbers of out of state potential new members.

Go to Facebook USC Class of 2013. There are long discussions about the process. Another helpful site is Greek Chat which has a long thread on helpful hints. Two threads are about SC recruitment, one from Trojan Woman and one from ellebud. Ellebud has some excellent advice.

Have you received your admittance to SC?

Nope, it doesn’t make a difference if you’re OOS or IS. Talking to sorority girls before and/or during the rush process is EXTREMELY frowned upon, because it’s like getting an unfair advantage and you might possibly lose a bid because of it.
