Rustic Pathways

Does anyone know anything about this organization?

Mson did their Fiji program and loved it.

I know this thread is pretty old, but 3xboys, if you’re still around, or anyone who has done this program, could you elaborate a bit? How was it? What was the service like? The activities? I just found this program and am now seriously considering it for summer 2007. I am specifically looking at Fiji as well, so it would really help if you commented. From what I see on the webstie, it looks amazing.

The Thailand and India ones look amazing!

You might want to check on the current political climate in Fiji since they just had a coup. I don’t know if it’d affect what you’d do there but you should be aware of it just in case.

My son is signed up for the Fiji medical clinic service and snowboarding in NZ. I spoke with the Rustic Pathways people today about the political climate in Fiji. They said that they had just returned from the island and while there was increased security life was proceeding as normal. I think its really a wait and see situation. I have heard nothing but wonderful things about this company and my son is looking foward to the trip. Call them and ask any all questions, I have found them to be very forthcoming with information.

My D is also signed up for a rustic pathways program–thailand and fiji–we are of course concerned with the political situation in both countries but I also felt reassured after talking to the staff.

Does anyone know the difference between this program and Putnam. I have a brochure for Putnam and it appears that many of the leaders are ivy league graduates

Collegebound5, Do you mean Putney?
