Rutgers and ECs

<p>My cousin is applying to rutgers and he has mediocre SATS AND GPA but amazing ECs, as in amazing period. But i am trying to explain him that Ecs dont matter for rutgers?</p>

<p>I mean where i got accepted, UMICH, they looked at ECS but idk about rutgers.</p>

<p>I had okay ECS but i got rejected from CMU today. :(</p>

<p>ECs count for little or nothing at large state schools (including UMich).</p>
