Is Rutgers RD still expected today, 2/28?
Saw a student on another social media site reporting getting in. Said they got an email at 2am.
Hello- Does anyone know how good the outcomes are for Rutgers NB for premed? How easy/ hard is it to get a clinical internships at RWJ hospital and into Physician shadowing program?
Any updates on financial aid? Got a notification today and an update on the portal, but looks like it’s full sticker price $20+$28k=$48k/year.
I think the $28k for housing and extras makes a lot of expensive assumptions. I don’t see how it realistically comes to that. I get a regular total direct cost to Rutgers for A&S of just over $36k. So it realistically shouldn’t be $12k in miscellaneous expenses. Even with health insurance at something around $4k, I don’t even think $8k of miscellaneous makes much sense.
Apparently they calculate that with the most expensive housing option and all the optional things other responders noted. I went in a manually calculated the most likely scenario for my son and got to $39,000 with all the mandatory fees, unlimited meal plan, and likely single or double room in a typical residence hall.
