I got the email but I can’t get into the portal. It just keeps saying “Authentication Failed”?? I just reset my password.

Same here. I thought I was going crazy about my password, but I’m entering the right one. Maybe too many people trying to log on at once?

@emilila013 doubt it, the same error message was there last night. I had the link to the portal from last year’s Honors thread

having the same problem… sent an email to the honors college program asking about it. Didn’t realize this thread existed when i sent the email lol

I just called the admissions office and the honors college. They said that they have been receiving a ton of calls about this and are trying to resolve it. They told me to check again in an hour, and then at the end of the day. I would just give it time, and try to not to call them as they’re probably getting spammed with the same questions right now. Good luck with everyone’s decisions

I just got email saying Honors invitation what is that mean? does it mean got into Honors College at all or just honors. Can you get selected for both the Honros college and Honors same time.

It means you got into either the Honors College of the Honors Program. Each school you applied to will give their own decisions. You can get into the honors college through one school, and into the honors program through another. The school you end up going to determines whether you will be in the Honors College, or the Honors Program.

My son (OOS) got into 4 different school based Honors programs, and Honors College NB (required to live in the Honors College for year 1).

I still can’t get into the portal! So frustrating.

My son and I are both trying, he changed his password, etc. and still can’t get in.

@TwoFabKids just give it a little time. It’s a system error and has nothing to do with your password

He sent an image of the notice to me, not sure how he got in.

@Bromptonboy I think you might be mistaken. The email shows all 4 programs and the honors college but that doesn’t mean he got into them
