Rutgers Pharmacy

Throughout my time at Rutgers Pharm, would I have the extra time to take Korean classes with an attempt at becoming fluent and also running Cross Country/Indoor/Outdoor Track?

So in the school of Pharmacy you are required to take six courses in the humanities and/or social science. If you wanted to take Korean classes for credit through Rutgers, you can have them fill your humanities requirements. If you’re just starting out with Korean, then any class in the Korean department will count. However, if you took it in high school, then you have to continue at the level you left off at. I found all of this on this website under the “Humanities/Social Science Electives” link on the left:

As far as running, you’d have to try joining a team and see if you feel comfortable participating and getting all of your work done. I know a pharm student who is an RA and plays on the ultimate frizbee team and another student who stopped participating in his sport, so it’s really up to you to find out how much you can do.
