Hello,

What kind of SAT scores are needed for Rutger’s Pharm?
Do they look at anything else besides GPA and SAT Score?
Me: SAT: 2140
GPA: 4.338

Thanks!

Of course they look at more than your SAT score and GPA silly! Our valedictorian is going to the pharmacy program and your scores are very similar so based off of that, I would say that you definitely have a chance. From what I’ve heard though, it’s super competitive. Keep in mind your extracurriculars, essays and recs. Our vale did a lot of community service and she was president of two major clubs. I didn’t read her essays, but I suppose they were really good.

Those are in the average range for the EMSOP; assuming that 4.3 is on the 4 scale and not the 5.

It’s out of 4…I think its unweighted?
What does Rutgers Pharm like to see in a student’s application??

Good. and… I have no idea.

I applied a few months ago, with about a 4.1 on the 4 and a 2250 SAT; had a lot of extracurriculars with a few ‘leadership positions’ and so on. That’s pretty much it all; grades, SATs, and extras. Make sure your grades stay high, your SATs are fine, and make sure you’re involved in 4-5 clubs, activities, volunteering spots or whatever.
