Rutgers Prep vs Princeton Day School

Hi-
My middle school kid was accepted to both schools and we’re torn about where he should go. He has dyslexia and ADHD and went to a specialized private school for kids with dyslexia and ADHD for elementary school and did phenomenally well. We are comfortable with him making the transition from a specialized private school for learning needs to a traditional college prep environment. Rutgers Prep seems to be a very solid nurturing environment with their learning center, curriculum and extracurricular activities. Yet PDS is also appealing because they have fantastic facilities and they have a squash team where my kid can pursue it competitively. But they don’t have a learning center. I don’t think he needs a lot of support per se but I am leery about throwing him in there as it will be a major change. Any thoughts?

I would recommend you contact the AO’s at both schools and ask to be set up with appropriate school contacts including a parent or two with a student having a similar profile. Also, does his current school have an opinion regarding past/current students and fit?
