No ultimately rejected which we expected. He only had a 86/100 GPA
So if my child got accepted to Newark and doesnât esnt to go there should she decline offer or just wait??? New mom of senior
It doesnt matter. It has zero effect on admission to NB.

Iâm full on stressing. I got the email but on common app it says ânoâ to consideration for other rutgers schools.
Did you apply to Newark or Camden? It could be because u didnât apply there

No only the ones I applied too.
Are only instate students getting this email with other options? If out of state, did you mark yes, I would consider other campuses? We are OOS only NB application and did not get this email.
I am instate so maybe thatâs why. I hope this email isnât some sort of âbrace yourself for a rejectionâ.

We are OOS and my daughter got the email. She also said she was open to all 3 campuses.
OOS parents - have you visited/learned about the 3 campuses? Theyâre all very different.
New Brunswick (rated #40 by USNWR) is the flagship. The others are not.
My son will go to one of the campuses of course we are praying for New Brunswick. Does anyone have any thoughts on Newark and Camden and which would be better for the âcollege experienceâ? Staying in dorms, etc. I have heard Camden has a lot of commuter students. appreciate any thoughts!
My son received the email yesterday and today his portal shows NB as âwaitlistâ. He in in-state with decent stats and had applied to RBS. He was admitted to Newark and Camden, but NB is his first preference. This is very disappointing for in-state students.
