Rutgers University New Brunswick Early Action for Fall 2024

S24 admitted into PrePharmacy (6yr program) and SAS. 3.8 UW, 1470 SAT. In-State. Both son and parents feel very grateful/blessed. Best of luck to others who have not yet heard!

I think cheer helps a lot. They probably cannot commit to saying it would help, but Rutgers cheer program is serious, your son is probably a great athlete! Congratulations! I am sure he would get in anyway, but I am super impressed with him getting a verbal commitment for cheer, the gymnasts on cheer are so talented.

(I’m a law alum too! Camden- and like everyone else from NJ I have like 50 relatives who went there- most frustrating thing ever that they don’t look at alums b/c its the one school where I have tons and tons and ton)

Admitted to NB OOS A/S test optional

In-state.

Accepted to SAS and SEBS. Earlier today, showed in review for RBS, but that has since changed to waitlisted (not tragic).

GPA 4.1 weighted.
SAT 1370
Several honors classes, 2 AP, and 5 dual enrollment.
Extensive volunteer hours and leadership.

I got the decision, 1st choice was engineering school in Rivew, 2nd 3rd choice waitlisted

wonder if In review is eventually waitlisting decision…

It’s actually not uncommon, apparently. My son has received decisions from multiple schools, but only two of them sent an email notifying that a decision was available. :woman_shrugging:

Not in our case. SAS and SEBS were ā€œadmittedā€ since this morning with RBS ā€œin reviewā€ until late afternoon when it changed to ā€œadmittedā€ as well.

My son status shows Decision made and Status also says Admitted. But when he goes to Application it just says SAS but NB is not mentioned. He had applied only to NB. Should it not say SAS New Brunswick? Where can I confirm that it is for NB. Thanks

If you click enroll now (don’t worry, there are other buttons to click before you submit your decision), it will take you to a screen that shows the school.

For those that have heard back from RBS New Brunswick what have been the stats? I’m seeing a lot of rejections and getting a bit nervous. Admitted into SOE and SAS but RBS is still under review…

Having issues with creating NetID as well. Has anyone been successful today to create a Netid.

If you are accepted for Engineering (specifically Civil), it must be for NB, correct?

My son got accepted to RBS New Brunswick ( his first choice ). In-state, 4.0 unweighted, all Honors or AP courses, 36 ACT, good awards/ECs.

Has everyone heard? My son’s EA app still only says submitted. Not even Under Review. Only applied to NB.

Thank you. Tried that and School states New Brunswick. Unable to create NetID yet
