Rutgers vs Purdue vs Gatech for grad electrical engineering

I have been accepted to all these four grad programs in EE, Rutgers, Purdue, Gatech and U of Missouri Columbia. However I know that Purdue and Gatech stand out from these four schools as better. Still I was surprised to see on Rutgers website that the minimum scores required for graduate admission to ECE is 600V, 730Q and 4.5AW. Isnt this condition to attain 600 at Verbal and 4.5 at Analytical Writing too much if you want your application just to be considered for admission?

The GRE requirements of Rutgers is even tougher than UIUC, Purdue, Gatech, CMU and many top ranking schools. Does this mean that Rutgers is (or is gonna be) a prestigious engineering school?

verbal and writing?? the GRE is one of those things I don’t understand, like why they even care about it for engineers/scientists

I just checked and MIT doesn’t require the GRE for grad EE…smart school

No. It just means that they very rarely admit foreign students.

Of the schools listed, GT is clearly the best option for EE.
