Sad - student chokes and/or has an allergic reaction and dies after a pancake eating contest fundraiser. Condolences to the family.
This story has been all over the news here in the NYC metro area. Her father was a Port Authority police officer who died on 9/11 and she was apparently the daughter anyone would be proud to have.
So sad, too sad. I also feel for the nursing student who realized something was wrong but may have thought it was an allergic reaction since the girl had allergies but the COD was choking.
